Member FDIC

The Federal Deposit Insurance Corporation (FDIC) is an independent agency of the US Government. The FDIC protects depositors against the loss of their insured deposits if an FDIC-Insured bank or savings association fails. FDIC Insurance is backed by the full faith and credit of the US Government.

Equal Housing Lender

The terms Equal Housing Lender and Equal Opportunity Lender are synonymous and refer to all FDIC-Insured banks, including Citizens State Bank. Home Mortgage Disclosure Act (HMDA) Notice

The HMDA data about our residential mortgage lending are available online for review. The data show geographic distribution of loans and applications: ethnicity, race, sex, age, and income of applicants and borrowers; and information about loan approvals and denials. These data are available at the Consumer Financial Protection Bureau’s website. HMDA data for other financial institutions are also available at this site.


USA Patriot Act/ Customer Identification Requirements

In accordance with Section 326 of the USA Patriot Act, applicants for new accounts are requested to provide current picture identification that verifies identity including name, address and other identifying information.

In some cases, identification will be requested for current account holders if original documentation was not obtained with the opening of the account. In all cases, protection of our customer’s identity and confidentiality is our pledge to you.
