If your home or household has been affected by flooding, relief grants of up to $10k may be available to assist you with immediate recovery needs.

Disaster relief funds can help eligible Indiana homeowners cover expenses such as:

  • Emergency home repairs
  • Temporary housing or lodging
  • Replacement of essential home systems, including HVAC equipment, sump pumps and water heaters
  • Emergency power needs
  • Utility reconnection fees
  • Transportation related to relocation or medical needs

Who May Be Eligible?

To qualify for disaster relief assistance, households must:

  • Own and occupy the affected home as their primary residence
  • Be located in a federally or state-declared disaster or emergency area
  • Have been directly impacted by the flooding
  • Have a household income below or equal to 100% of the Median Family Income for the county where the home is located. (Learn more about the median family income here.)
