What is the Revive program?

Revive is a home repair grant program that helps eligible homeowners pay for important repairs, maintenance, and accessibility upgrades. Through Citizens State Bank, qualified homeowners may receive up to $15,000 in grant funding to help make their home safer, more comfortable, and easier to maintain.

Where do the funds come from?

The Revive program is funded through the Federal Home Loan Bank of Indianapolis’ Community Investment programs. Since 1990, their Community Investment team has supported affordable housing and economic development across the region.

In just the past 10 years, they’ve provided nearly $400 million in funding—helping build thousands of affordable housing units, supporting first-time homebuyers, and funding home repairs and local businesses throughout Indiana and Michigan.

Who qualifies for Revive assistance?

You may be eligible if you:

  • Have a household income at or below 80% of area median income

  • Are current on your mortgage and property taxes

  • Are listed on the deed of the property

  • Need qualified repairs, maintenance, or accessibility upgrades

If you're still unsure whether or not you qualify, don't worry. Someone from our team will walk through everything with you and help determine whether your home and repair needs may be eligible.

How much can I expect to receive in assistance?

Eligible homeowners may receive up to $15,000 in Revive grant funding for qualified repairs or accessibility upgrades.

The amount you receive will depend on several factors, including the scope of the project, available funding, and program eligibility requirements.

⚠ Disclaimer: Funding is limited and available on a first-come, first-served basis. This is not a guarantee of funding or approval. Our team will review your unique situation and help determine what assistance may be available.

Do you have other assistance programs?

Yes! The following program will be opening soon:

  • HomeBoost (available starting 7/8/2026)
Provides down payment assistance for first-generation, first-time homebuyers in Indiana and Michigan.

Our team can help you determine which program may be the best fit for you.

Why is funding limited?

The Revive program is funded through the Federal Home Loan Bank of Indianapolis (FHLBank Indianapolis), which provides a limited amount of grant funding to participating banks each year.  State Bank can receive up to $600,000 in Launch funding to distribute to qualified applicants, and those funds are available on a first-come, first-served basis.

Applying early gives you the best chance of receiving available assistance.
